When my daughter was two years old, I noticed that she likes books. She always loves to visit books stores or libraries. Since I also like to read books I decided to save some money to invest on collecting books that we thought she might like. We choose books that would help develop her character.
Ellen G. White on her book Child Guidance emphasized on basing the child’s learning on the lessons from the Bible and it should be the source of knowledge for the child to learn from God as their father and creator.

There are many lessons that we can learn from these stories. Lessons that remind the children to be kind, thoughtful, brave, gentle, forgiving and many others but the greatest lesson that I can get from these books is to learn to depend on God at any time, whether it will be time of need or abundant, in joy or in pain, a learning that God is always there.
These are the kind of books that should be present in our library. If you are interested on having these books available to your children click here.
