Arts and Crafts #1 Stick the Colored Squares

Last week our students were busy creating this beautiful piece of art.  Since we don’t have the name of it so I took the liberty of “Stick the Colored Squares.”  This is good for a group activity for kindergarten students.  It is easy and fun to do.

These are the materials for these activity:

1.  Chalk
2.  Colored Paper
3.  Black Card board
4.  Glue
5.  Scissors

Procedure:

Cut the colored paper into small squares.  (You can do it into small circles too but squares are easy to cut).  Draw a picture of anything you like on the black cardboard using the chalk (white or yellow).  Stick the squares to the picture.

We use yellow, brown, green and blue colored papers for the picture above.

This activity is suggested for 4-6 years old students.  This can be done as a family activity if you have young children.

Have fun.
