Teaching is always a challenge if you are still up for a challenge. I will be lying if I won’t admit that there are times that I asked myself why I am still teaching. Often times, I go home satisfied with what I did in the classroom and did inspired me to continue teaching.
My first experienced of teaching was when I was about 8 years old. My mother asked me to teach a song to children of my age at a nearby village. It was an awesome experienced and I always cherish those moments that made me happy.
Reasons why I teach
- Challenge – If you’re up for challenges be a teacher. Teaching is always full of challenges and adventure. A challenge to help the student learn their ABCs or 123s or even help shape their behavior.
- Motivation - Teaching gives you the chance to motivate other students and help shape their future.
- Satisfaction – Nothing can substitute the feeling of satisfaction looking at your students getting their diplomas during graduation.
Every time I felt discourage I remind myself that I am still up for challenge, to motivate my students and prepare themselves not only to finish their course but also to prepare themselves to face the real world.

I have never teach but I mentored some people at work as well at my club and I say that it’s a wonderful experience.
