Three Elementary Schools and two High schools benefited from the services rendered by the Adventist Community Service (ACS) volunteers this summer. This is a response to the program of the government called Brigada Eskwela where everyone is encouraged to help prepare the school before classes begin.
Last June 5, 2019, ACS Cabcabon Central joined the ACS-NEMM to help (NEMA) Northeastern Mindanao Academy’s Brigada Eskwela. ACS from different chapters came to join and help clean the surroundings and paint classroom walls. Pastor Jerry Taguno the director of the Adventist Community Service in Caraga Region encouraged every club to be a part of volunteer work emphasizing “to bring Christ’s name in the workplace” – the theme of ACS.
