Hi!  My name is Joie. I was born and raised in the Philippines.  I graduated from Mountain View College, Philippines.  I am married and has a lovely daughter.  I am full time teacher and a part time online student of Adventist Institute of Advance Studies.  I can speak Tagalog, Cebuano, English and a little bit of Mandarin Chinese.

I am a family man.  I like cycling, basketball and photography.  I play guitar, piano and harmonica.  Hopefully I can learn how to play drums and er hu – a chinese instrument.

I am currently working as Kindergarten teacher in China for almost ten years.  This blog becomes my online Journal about teaching kindergarten, learning the Chinese language, motivation, school activities and many other that revolves around education.  I also write about my travels in China which includes  reviews about hotels, restaurants and places to visit.
